Education in advance countries?

In the United States, many people believe that obtaining a college degree is one of the most important steps they can take in order to achieve success. This is especially true for people who want to enter the workforce as professionals. "A college degree is the most essential component in an individual’s life and it is the only tool by which he or she can survive in a competitive economy." (Glenn, 2008) People associate college education with getting a good job and becoming successful in life.

This is why students often work hard to earn their degrees, and then continue to struggle once they have graduated. Unfortunately, this scenario is more common than one might think. "A college education requires students to overcome all types of adversity and prepares them not only for the workplace, but for dealing with many other aspects of life." (Kimbler, 2009) Getting a college degree is not easy. It requires a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication on the part of the student. However, there are also certain factors that make it difficult for graduates to find a job or to successfully launch their careers.

"The chances of a college graduate finding a job are slim. Only about one in three recent college graduates are working in a field related to their major."
